As every year,Rockwell Automation celebrated the Automation University Special 2014 on March 26 and 27 at the World Trade Center in Barcelona. Sumnistros Omnielectric, as an authorized distributor of Allen-Bradley y Rockwell Software, was on hand to stay up to date with the latest news, trends and advances in automation solutions y information systems.
During these technical days, we were able to attend various presentations, demonstration sessions and hands-on sessions as well as the exhibition area.
In the hands-on sessions y demonstration sessions, we could witness various demos and interactive demonstration sessions to learn even more in detail about the latest product news from Rockwell Automation and also the solutions to achieve our clients’ goals.
We could learn firsthand about the latest in industrial control systems, which were:
- GuardMaster: a flexible, cost-effective and easy-to-use solution. The new safety relay GuardMaster 440C-CR30 is fully configurable and suited for applications requiring 4 to 10 safety circuits and control of up to 5 zones, saving panel space. The GuardMaster 440R-ENETR with interface EtherNet/IP enables GuardMaster safety relays with optical bus technology to communicate on an EtherNet/IP network, minimizing downtime.
- PowerFlex 525: The AC drive PowerFlex525 features a modular, easily configurable design. Its performance has been optimized. We offer several control options for motor control and also for the positioning control. They provide your installation with the protection against overload, short circuit and ground faults.
The presentations were delivered in a total of 4 rooms covering topics including integrated architecture, communications, components, security solutions, information systems, and variable-speed drives to apply them to our customers’ installations.
