From Omnielectric we announce the completion of the VISITRON project, a collaborative initiative focused on the die-stamping industry with innovations in artificial vision for quality control.
The VISITRON Project and Artificial Vision
The VISITRON project consists of an Intelligent Artificial Vision System designed for defect detection and quality control in the stamping (torquelería) sector. This project aims to research industrial techniques of advanced artificial vision for application in quality control processes of parts. The goal is to develop a digitized methodology that optimizes the continuous improvement and manufacturing strategy, improving resource use, assisting workers, and reducing carbon emissions.
As a key actor in this project, Omnielectric has played a prominent role in researching advanced artificial vision solutions, contributing its experience in electrical and electronic technologies for automotive.
Thanks to the active collaboration of Omnielectric and other consortium entities such as NUTAI, LEMEC, under the coordination of the Catalonia Automotive Industry Cluster – CIAC and the Valencian Community Automotive and Mobility Cluster – AVIA, the VISITRON project has achieved significant advances in the research and application of vision, automation and robotics technologies, setting new standards in the sector and laying the groundwork for future innovations in the industry.
