Simatic ET 200SP, BaseUnit BU15-P16+A10+2D, BU type A0, quick-insertion spring terminals, with 10 AUX terminals, new load group, W x H: 15 x 141 mm SIMATIC ET 200SP is a decentralized, scalable, and highly flexible peripheral system with a modular structure. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it is ideal for mounting in small machine-floor distribution boxes. The modules can be plugged directly into an ET 200SP CPU or connected to a central controller via PROFINET or PROFIBUS. SIMATIC ET 200SP can be expanded with up to 64 peripheral modules, plug-in in any combination. The system offers a very wide range of modules. Moreover, many modules are available in different variants, which markedly improve scalability in terms of functionality and price. For example, in addition to modules with standard functionality (ST), there are also others with extended functionality and diagnostics (HF High Feature/HS High Speed). For applications with tight budgets, basic functionality modules (BA) are offered. The advantage of the ET 200SP system lies in its ease of use, e.g., thanks to the free choice of the PROFINET connection system via the BusAdapter, tool-free wiring via push-in technology, and better access to the wiring thanks to the new arrangement of the spring-release holes with the corresponding conductor entry, as well as per-channel diagnostic functions. Thanks to the possibility of swapping modules and terminal boxes during operation (hot swapping), the machine always maintains a high level of availability and productivity. The scalability and cost optimization of the configuration of an ET 200SP system is guaranteed with the complete range of signal modules. Digital and analog input and output modules are offered with their respective safety variants for applications up to SIL 3/PLe. This also applies to the integrated motor starters, suitable for motors up to 5.5 kW. Both Energy Meter, for measuring and analyzing energy consumption, and IO-Link-Master (V1.1.) and many other technology and communication modules make it possible to adapt the system to any automation task.
