The SITOP PSE201U backup module covers short power outages of up to several seconds, thereby ensuring uninterrupted operation of the installation. This expansion module can be used with all 24 V power supplies in the SITOP Smart or SITOP Modular lines. The backup module, equipped with maintenance-free capacitors that act as energy storage, automatically takes over the 24 V supply in the event of a mains voltage failure. The indication of supply voltage >20.5 V is performed by an LED on the unit. Up to 8 backup modules can be connected in parallel to extend the backup time (max. 10 s). For protection against prolonged power outages, SITOP UPS DC modules can be used. The maintenance-free capacitor-based DC UPS provides a reliable 24 V supply for minutes, and the DC UPS with battery modules for several hours.
