The SITOP PSE200U selective cut-off module is the ideal complement for all 24 V power supplies, enabling the load current to be distributed among several circuits or branches and monitored. It also reliably detects overload and short circuit in one or more branches. The electronics tolerate short-duration current peaks due to, for example, high inrush current, and disconnect branches with prolonged overload. This is ensured even with high-impedance cables and in the presence of progressive short circuits. The intact branches continue to receive 24 V power without interruption or disturbance, minimizing plant downtime. The defective branch is signaled by an LED on the device and a common signaling contact.
