The Basic Controllers are the first choice to flexibly and efficiently address automation tasks in the lower and middle ranges. The range offers CPUs with stepped capabilities for different input voltages and with transistor or relay outputs. Security variants are also available. In addition to the already built-in inputs and outputs, the compact CPUs can be expanded in their own housing or with a wide variety of signal and communication modules to precisely match your requirements. HMI panels connect via their integrated Ethernet interface. The CPU memory can be expanded with a memory card; the PLC is configured with STEP 7 Basic software in the TIA Portal. The micro-PLC features varied connectivity to diverse communication standards thanks to integrated functions (PROFINET, Modbus, etc.) or complementary modules (IO-Link, AS-i, etc.), thus offering maximum flexibility in network installation and topology.
