In addition to the already built-in inputs and outputs, the compact CPUs can be expanded in their own housing or with a wide variety of signal and communication modules to precisely match your requirements. HMI panels connect via their integrated Ethernet interface. The CPU memory can be expanded with a memory card; the PLC is configured with STEP 7 Basic software in the TIA Portal.
