Sitop SEL1200 10 A selective-cut module for 4 channels with switching feature; input: 24 V DC/40 A; output: 24 V DC/4x 10 A; adjustable threshold 2-10 A; with monitoring interface. The SITOP SEL1200 selective-cut module is the ideal complement for all 24 V power supplies to distribute and monitor load current in several branches of current. Both overloads and short circuits in one or more branches are reliably detected. The electronics allow brief current peaks, e.g., those resulting from a high inrush current, and cut the branches with prolonged overload. This is ensured even in high-impedance cables and in the event of “progressive” short circuits. By feeding the intact branches, plant downtime is minimized. The signaling of the defective branch is provided by LEDs and by a contact for grouped signaling or a diagnostic monitor.
