During 2024,Omnielectric has reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, sustainability and digitalization through its participation in various strategic projects. The following highlights the main achievements reached:
1. CAREBAT Project: Intelligent Battery Management
In collaboration with NUTAI and the Valencian Community Automotive and Mobility Cluster (AVIA), Omnielectric has worked on developing advanced solutions for end-of-first-life battery management.
- Key advances:
- Implementation of technologies of Artificial Intelligence to identify battery models and defects.
- Development of automated traceability and digitization of key assets.
- Digitized methodological process to repurpose batteries for energy applications, promoting sustainability.
This project, funded by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism (MIRCOTUR), has strengthened the circular economy in the Valencian Community automotive industry, contributing to sustainability and energy efficiency.
2. VISITRON Project: Innovation in Computer Vision
Within the stamping industry, Omnielectric has played a key role in the project VISITRON, focused on implementing intelligent computer vision systems for quality control.
- Key achievements:
- Research and development of advanced computer vision techniques to detect defects in parts.
- Collaboration with strategic partners such as NUTAI, LEMEC, and the clusters CIAC y AVIA.
- Resource optimization, reduction of carbon emissions and assistance to human labor in complex processes.
This project, funded by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism (MINTUR), establishes new standards in automation and continuous improvement in the stamping sector.
3. RECIBATNAV Project: Renewable Energies in the Naval Sector
As part of the SAIL2FUTURE project, within the PERTE Naval, Omnielectric has led initiatives focused on sustainability and digitalization of maritime transport.
- Objectives achieved:
- Design of a system BatteryPack utilizing second-life batteries from electric vehicles.
- Development of an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) to optimize its performance and safety.
- Digitization of monitoring and control of the system to ensure its energy efficiency in maritime environments.
